Theatre and Drama majors with a primary interest in design and technology apply for the Design & Technology Option. This highly structured program of study offers students a deeper practical knowledge and experience of the skills required to pursue professional work as a designer, technician, and/or advanced studies in theatre. Students are highly mentored and will benefit from personalized performance reviews with the design and technology faculty and staff at the end of each semester.

Admission is by interview only; application interviews are announced at the midpoint each semester and are held at various theatre educational conferences for incoming freshman.
