The University of Wisconsin Law School's research-based degree programs are strictly designed for those who have received a law degree from an American law school, or an equivalent degree from a university outside of the United States (e.g., LLB).
Students are expected to complete the LLM/SJD degree program in four years total, and there is no direct entry into the SJD program. There is only Fall admission for the LLM/SJD degree program and admission is not rolling.
Visit our webpage for more information about the LLM and SJD programs and admissions requirements.
