The University of Wisconsin–Madison Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program prepares students for professional practice in audiology through academic coursework, clinical education, and community engagement experiences. The four-year professional doctorate includes training in the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing and balance disorders across the lifespan.
Students participate in clinical experiences in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, private practices, and community clinics. The program emphasizes evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, and preparation for clinical licensure and professional certification.
